Where are all of the jobs?

I know that we are in a recession but where are all of the jobs? I know that they exist. One of the first things that I do in the morning is check out my local newspaper to see where all of the job openings are. If you are not a truck driver, teacher, accountant, or nurse then there just isn't anything available to you. I guess I just answered my question. So then it seems that in order to get a job, you have no choice but to go back to school and get your degree in any one of these areas. If that isn't an option then there is always the military. It is steady reliable work and it beats having to go to multiple interviews.
